Biography
I am a trial lawyer who has a unique perspective in the field of personal injury litigation. My career began at a prominent plaintiff’s personal injury firm in Chicago, where I was afforded the rare opportunity to handle complex cases immediately out of law school.
I represented patients and families involved in various personal injury, medical malpractice and nursing home abuse and neglect claims. I was mentored by some of the best trial attorneys in the country while at that firm.
I gained invaluable experience and found working on behalf of the aggrieved patients and families to be truly rewarding. During that time, I worked to obtain millions of dollars on behalf of my clients, through both settlements and verdicts.
From there, I made a career change to “the other side of the V.” I went to work for a highly respected defense law firm in Chicago and I handled high-profile cases on behalf of doctors, medical facilities and nursing homes.
While there, I learned the ins and outs of the insurance industry and how the defense evaluates and handles various personal injury cases. I am distinct in that I have worked on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants at the highest level of this industry, and I ultimately was made a partner at age 33.
After a few years working for the defense, I then took the opportunity to get back to my roots and back to my first passion: representing individuals and families of those who have been wrongfully injured. I pledge to seek justice and fair compensation for those who have been the victim of the wrongful actions of others.
