At that firm, she represented patients and families in various personal injury, medical malpractice, and nursing home abuse claims. Mentored by some of the country’s best trial attorneys, Melissa gained invaluable experience and found working on behalf of injured individuals truly rewarding. During this time, she secured millions of dollars for her clients through both settlements and verdicts.

Melissa then made a career shift to “the other side of the V,” joining a highly respected defense law firm in Chicago. There, she handled high-profile cases representing doctors, medical facilities, and nursing homes. This experience gave her insider knowledge of how the insurance industry evaluates and handles personal injury cases.

Having worked for both plaintiffs and defendants at the highest level—ultimately becoming a partner at just 33—Melissa brings a comprehensive understanding of personal injury litigation to every case.
